As part of achroma‘s kickstarter campaign, there will be 48 new alternate art cards from Chapter 1. One of the great things about this, other than the fact that they look amazing, is that players can use these cards to double up on legendaries for heroes mode, or just have more decks built at once without having to swap cards around. The list of cards that will have alt arts has been released, and here they are:

That’s a lot of great cards. For those players interested in playing heroes, here is a complete list of legendaries without new alt arts:
Magus Elite: Hex Clunker,
Draco: Darnacusk,
Denizens: Entombed Elders,
Pixies: Spiral Tratorious,
Traders: Norso Totem,
Lacringi: Chieftess Astrid of Lacringi.
One of the first images revealed of these alt arts was this one:

Some of these may have changed since original release, though we have seen that the Issadora and Vraxea have remained unchanged, the former in response to public outcry on discord. It seems this one is a popular one with the community.

Lately we’ve been seeing the final alt arts, which have featured a mixture of concept art from their artist Vinnie aka Matt Vince (click here for a link to his website) and art from the achroma cinematic trailer by Feral Child (click here for a link to Feral Child’s website).

And most recently, we’ve seen a couple of awesome alt arts from graphic artist liztamine (here’s a link to her instagram page):

I’m absolutely loving the look of these cards, and the variety is particularly pleasing, rather than all the same style. I’d say my favourites are probably Siv of Lacringi, Guardians of Flutterby Falls, Detective Vraxea, and Vortigen.
And finally, this amazing alt art got released just this morning:

I can’t wait to see the rest of them, and I especially can’t wait to receive these cards and start playing with them IRL.
