A quick one tonight. The achroma dB has just been updated to show the realmless cards from Rise of the Realm Runners, as well as the Salum Planum and Draco Planum cards that have been spoiled already.

Hidden within this data drop are 2 new spoilers, as these cards were spoiled some time ago, then heavily reworked before release. Both were initially reviewed here. Let’s have a look at the updated versions:

Arabella’s Recipe I think is a first in that it specifically rewards you for playing a mixture of chroma and achrom. Cards that carry both colours that can be included in a Salum Planum deck are: Issadora, The Curse of Curdle Hill, Rabid Dog, Occultist Warlock, Road to Ludlam, Cintimani Stone, Arabella, Serpent’s Ring, Green Raven, and Phisto. As the first 6 in that list will probably be in my occultists deck anyway, I could see this being worth a ±3 pretty easily, which is a bargain for 2Δ, even if it is a bit situational compared to Salum Spring.

The other card is the hard to say Kyusho Kougeki Jyutsu:

This card was previously a 2 cost card to cancel the abilities, attack, and resolve of any character. Now it’s a flexible mini-board wipe. Draining 1Δ is not massive, but could certainly be effective against swarm decks, or to give you the edge when attacking. Personally, I feel this is a bit too situational to be worth including in a competitive deck, but I do like that you can choose for it to only apply to opponents, which makes it a lot stronger than similar universal effect cards like Drain the Woods.
