Achroma Puzzle

It’s been a while since I posted an article, mostly due to the fact I’ve been away on holiday. I did at least get a chance to briefly drop in on the 26-hour long epic stream by Charles last month. If you haven’t seen any of it yet, the first segment is here. That which I did see was amazing; great work, and just over £500 was raised for charity, an excellent achievement.

There was some pretty exciting news on the stream about a new product being released alongside the next Draco release called Dexter’s Dragon Riders, but that’s not why I’m here today.

I’m here because I wrote a puzzle for achroma. Without further ado, here it is:

Level 1:
You’re playing a game of achroma and it’s curse vs curse.
Your opponent looks in a commanding position, with them on 21Δ and you on just 7Δ. They have Bay of Mysteries, a Servant of the Sirens, a Moonveil Harpy, and the ever powerful Countess Issadora Curdle on their canvas.
You have a Moonveil Harpy, 2 Veil Chaser’s Nest, and a Sea Serpent on your canvas and have in your hand: Hostile Takeover, Servant of the Sirens, Moonveil Harpy, Pearl of Culuda, Bribe, and Dark Rainbow.

The setup

It’s your turn. How do you win?
You can’t rely on drawing the cards you need: everything you need to win is right in front of you.

To help you out, here’s all the cards again in a nice clear image:

Level 2:
The exact same setup but now your opponent has 23Δ, but you have a slightly more generous 8Δ to play with. How do you win this time?

If you work it out, you can comment below, or post to the main chat in discord. Good luck.
