A Fowl Play aka Viridian palette for you today, and another Draco Planum deck after the Vast Volitarus deck we published a few days ago. This one is a dragon heavy deck, and features Dexter, Master of Dragons, as the star of the show.
For anyone unfamiliar with the story behind this sublime card, please check out the article here, and if you want to buy this card, go here. All proceeds from sales of this realm runner go to charity.

Viridian runs us through the story behind this deck:
“This is a community made Dexter Master of Dragons palette.
It was made during one of my live streams where the chat helped me pick out the cards. It’s not the strongest palette, it does have a key weakness. But when it plays right, it is super satisfying.
The main objective for this palette was to be an all out dragon palette. It’s primary goal was to fill it with as many strong dragons as possible to synergise together.
Naturally Dexter was the best choice for this palette due to his great resolve, and giving all dragons protection which is insanely powerful with the recent changes to protection.
As for the rares, Materno is a must, as if you can get out Dexter and Materno at the same time (I would often not play one without the other if possible) it means that Materno protects Dexter, and Dexter protects everyone else. This combo means that when it is out, the ONLY way anyone can get rid of your dragons is: Claim, Restrain, Bounce, Role reversal, Poisonous. Which is a very specific list.
As for the other Rares, Ignis was a must have for his canvas control. The other 2 rares i went for Jade Dragon Pendant, as an issue for dragons in general is low shard cost, so until you can get your Dexter/Materno out, you need something to be able to bolster your dragons. Also in the rare case you want to play Dexter without Materno, this is a great Object to give to Dexter.
Chromatic Extinction is in there because the biggest threat to this palette is lack of board presence. Because of how weak all of the dragons are, if your opponent gets out a few strong characters BEFORE you can, you are screwed as you cannot build up your canvas. When this happens… your only gain is from one of 3 locations…. So Chromatic Extinction is your lifeline to clear characters so that you can then play 2 other Characters after on that turn and re-gain board control.
Obviously i had to get a lot of dragons in! Some dragons are stupid not to pick (Ruber for the resolve value, Minima for the card draw, Fledgling for the combo). I went for Glacies Draco to help defend Dexter in a situation where Materno is not out to protect him.
There are 3 other objects, mostly there for the gain value, but also good to again strengthen your characters. But mostly the gain…
Obivously 2 Breath of Fire and 2 Breath of Ice for the control, you can’t not have these in a good draco palette.
Then as for locations, there wasn’t room for many, but 1 Draco Graveyard for digging any key cards I’ve lost. Storehouse / Mona for the obvious high gains, and Draco Library for the little research to help find my combos.
Win conditions/combos:
Dexter/materno….it’s insane.
Dexter is one of your main win cons if you can get a lot of cards out with him
Chroma Storehouse is a win con if you already have 5-6 other cards sharing a colour out
Strength in Numbers is a win con, again if you have a decent amount of dragons out.
Overall this palette has won me a lot of games, but it’s biggest weakness is you HAVE to get character control. If someone else gets this before you and you cannot remove this, you are completely stunned.”
